Second Moonlight Movie Night

Thank you once again to everyone who came and supported us at our 2nd Interior Savings Moonlight Movie Night!

This week, even more people showed up for the fun!  We were so impressed with our volunteers and sponsors for making the event run so smoothly!

Our next Movie Night is on August 24th at Riverside Park so be sure to bring your blankets and lawn chairs!  As it is later in the season, we are expecting this movie to start a bit earlier so make sure you come early to stake out your spot!

We are looking forward to seeing you all in August!

1st Moonlight Movie Night Success!

Wow!  If you were not at Riverside Park last Wednesday for Movie Night, make sure you don't miss it this week!  For those of you who haven't heard about it, Interior Savings has teamed up with the Boys and Girls Club to raise funds for our Power Start Program (please see website for details).  Fun and exciting movies are played on a giant inflatable screen, paired with popcorn, juice, face-painting and games! Attendance is by donation: suggested $3.00 per person or $10.00 per family!

The park was filled to the brim with people laughing and having a good time.  Families came from all over Kamloops to enjoy the festivities and to relax in the beautiful Riverside Park on a cool summer evening.  Games such as three-legged race, egg-on-spoon and the crowd fav junk in the trunk and face-painting started at 7pm for the kids (and any adults who wanted to participate!).  When the movie started right at dusk, there were well over 1,000 people there!  This event raised over $2,000 for our Power Start program - Thanks to everyone who attended the event and to everyone who donated!!

On Wednesday the July 20th, we will be showing Rio and expect to have even more people attending so hopefully we can reach $3,000 this time!  The popcorn will be flowing and the glowsticks will be dancing!

We hope to see you there - there are only 2 movie nights left!
