With the sun shining and a warm breeze in the air, Pineridge golf course was the site of a perfect afternoon for a golf tournament. We would like to send out a special thank you to the staff at Pineridge for being such wonderful and gracious hosts for our Second Annual Slicing 4 Dollar$ Golf Tournament on June 10, 2011 .
This afternoon of great golf and wonderful food brought in over $5000.00 for the Power Start program at the Boys and Girls Club of Kamloops. This couldn’t have been done without all the time and energy put in by Invis The Brenda Colman Team. Lisa, Brenda, Adam and Jeremy put in an exceptional amount of time and energy to make this golf tournament the success that it was. Thank you so much! A special thanks to Jeremy and Adam for all their additional effort and help. It was greatly appreciated.
We would like to thank all our hole sponsors including: Volkswagen Kamloops for their donation of a brand new 2011 Jetta as a hole-in-one prize. Slicing 4 Dollar$ is not only a fun and relaxing afternoon of great people, good food, and wonderful prizes, it is a day of change; a day to make a difference. The money raised at this tournament was allocated to the Power Start program, which removes barriers for children to be successful in schoool.
