SCHOOLS OUT FOR THE SUMMER!

On June 29th, the Running Room and Kamloops Fire and Rescue are teaming up to bring a Canada Day-themed Family Run/Walk and Picnic to Kamloops to celebrate the opening of a new Running Room store.
The Three W’s: When, Where, and Why: On Wednesday June 29th, 2011 at 6:00 p.m at Columbia Place Shopping Centre- across from Save On Foods, beside Interior Savings Credit Union, the festivities will occur. There will be a brief ribbon cutting ceremony followed immediately by the 2.5km and 5.0 km run/walk. There is a $10.00 entrance fee to which 100% goes to the Boys and Girls Club of Kamloops and the Kamloops Community YMCA-YWCA.The proceeds will be allocated to send children to summer camps!

Our goal is to send as many kids to camp as we can, and enjoy the evening at the Fun Run event! We want to encourage as many members of the Kamloops community to run for a good cause.

The more Runners/Walkers we have, the more children in
Kamloops can go to camp.

Please visit the Running Room’s website for more information. The following link will take you to the registration page, so please sign up!
